Maintenance of gel battery 1. Keep the battery surface clean; Regularly check the connection of the battery or battery rack. 2. Establish daily operation records of batteries and record relevant data in detail for future use. 3. Do not discard discarded batteries after use. Please contact the manufacturer for recycling. 4. During battery storage, the battery shall be recharged regularly as required. Service life of gel battery The service life of the battery has two indicators. One is the floating charge life, that is, the service life when the maximum capacity that the battery can release is not less than 80% of the rated capacity under standard temperature and continuous floating charge conditions. The second is the number of times of 80% deep cycle charging and discharging, that is, the number of times German solar cells with full capacity can be recycled after 80% of the rated capacity is discharged. Generally, engineers and technicians only attach importance to the former and neglect the latter. 80% of the times of deep cycle charging and discharging represents the actual number of times that the battery can be used. In the case of frequent power outages or low quality of mains electricity, when the actual number of times of battery use has exceeded the specified number of cycles of charging and discharging, although the actual use time has not reached the calibrated floating charge life, the battery has actually failed. If it cannot be found in time, it will bring greater potential accidents.
